The fine print.

These terms cover your use of foreironusa.com and any order you place with Fore Irons ("Fore Irons", "we", "us"). By placing an order or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't order.
1. What we sell
A Fore Iron is a real, used vintage golf iron that an artist bends by hand, paired with an engraved 6 x 2 in brass plate and wall pegs. We supply the iron. You don't send one in.
Every piece is one of a kind. The iron number, brand, length (anywhere from a 9-iron to a 2-iron), finish, and the exact shape of the bend vary from piece to piece. These clubs are vintage, so expect scuffs, marks, patina and other signs of age. Photos on the site show examples and are not the exact piece you'll receive. None of this is a defect.
The clubs we use may carry the names or logos of golf brands. Fore Irons is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any golf club manufacturer.
2. Your plate text
You choose the words on the plate. You're responsible for them, including spelling, names and dates. We send a proof of the plate by email before we engrave it, and engraving starts once you approve it, or if you haven't replied within 5 days of the proof. Please check it carefully.
We may refuse or ask you to change any text that we think is hateful, harassing, obscene, defamatory, infringes someone else's rights, or names a real person in a way they could reasonably object to. If we can't agree on text, we'll cancel the order and refund you in full.
By submitting text, you confirm you have the right to use it, and you agree to cover any claims, costs or damages that come from it.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and shown at checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We may change prices at any time, but a change won't affect an order you've already placed. If a price is listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
Offers such as the two-pack and the free hat apply only while shown on the site and can't be combined with other offers unless we say so.
4. Shipping and delivery
We ship to addresses in the United States only. Shipping is $30 per order for one Fore Iron and free when you order two, unless the site shows otherwise at checkout.
Each piece is made to order. Most orders arrive in about three weeks from when you approve your plate proof, but this is an estimate and not a guarantee. Delays from carriers, weather, holidays or supply can happen, and we're not responsible for them. If your order will be much later than expected, we'll tell you.
Please give us a correct shipping address. We're not responsible for orders sent to an address you gave us that turns out to be wrong. Once a carrier marks your order delivered, responsibility for it passes to you.
5. Returns, refunds and cancellations
Every Fore Iron is custom made by hand by an artist and engraved with your story, so all sales are final. We don't accept returns or exchanges, and we don't give refunds once engraving has started.
You can cancel for a full refund until you approve your plate proof. After that, the order can't be cancelled.
If we can't make your order for any reason, we'll refund you in full.
If your order arrives damaged, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the piece and the packaging. We'll review it and, at our choice, repair it, replace it or refund you. Please keep the packaging until we've sorted it out. Normal signs of age on a vintage club, and the natural variation described in section 1, don't count as damage.
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We'll work with you to make it right.
6. Hanging it safely
A Fore Iron is a decorative piece. It is not a golf club anymore, and it isn't a toy. The steel can have edges, and the piece is heavy enough to hurt someone if it falls.
Mount it into a wall stud or with anchors rated for the weight, and keep it out of reach of small children. You're responsible for hanging it properly. We're not responsible for injury or property damage caused by how it's hung, handled or used.
7. The hat
Hats are sold as shown and are final sale once shipped, except if they arrive damaged or wrong, in which case section 5 applies. Colors may look slightly different on your screen.
8. Our content
The Fore Irons name, logo, photos, videos, writing and design on this site belong to us or the people who licensed them to us. Please don't copy or use them without our written permission. We may share photos of finished pieces, including plate text, to show our work. We'll leave out last names and anything you ask us to leave out.
9. Warranty disclaimer
Except where the law doesn't allow it, the site and our products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will always be available or error free.
10. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Fore Irons and its owners, makers and partners won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from the site or your order. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
11. Disputes
If something goes wrong, email us first and give us 30 days to try to fix it. If we can't resolve it, either of us may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state where Fore Irons is based, without regard to conflict of law rules.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order. The effective date above shows when they last changed.
